Bio

Mel Piper is currently working on her second feature screenplay. Her debut project ''No Man’s Land'' is a participant of the European Genre Forum and received a Special Mention at Sitges Pitchbox in 2018. The film is shortlisted for the JETS FUND and Mel has been accepted to the RIFF Talent Lab 2019. She directed two shorts, a documentary and two plays, studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and holds a degree in Film Studies from London Metropolitan University. She has worked in British TV and theatre and currently divides her time between Hamburg and Provence. Mel Piper is a member of the European Women’s Audiovisual Network and the International Screenwriters' Association.
