The Art of Brooklyn Film Festival is a unique event and platform that connects the next generation of filmmakers to diverse audiences… and is an important part of NYC’s independent cultural scene.
Our Screenplay Competition is an essential part of our mission. The future of narrative storytelling is in the hands of the next generation of writers — and AoBFF believes in celebrating diverse creative voices from all over the world. For 2025 we're continuing our tradition of exciting industry partnerships, valuable prize packages, and great networking opportunities.

Our Policy on AI:
Technology — no matter how advanced — can never replace the human creative spirit. When a writer pours their heart and soul into a screenplay, they deserve consideration, respect, and constructive feedback from a real human expert… not artificial 'intellgence.'
At AoBFF we support independent artists every step of the way. We NEVER use A.I. in any of our Screenplay Contests or our Script Coverage Services.
