Known as a “shamus of the tiger sort” at Princeton, Harrison Blackman cut his teeth as a cub reporter in Taos, New Mexico before elevating his craft with an MFA at the University of Nevada, Reno and a Fulbright in the divided nation of Cyprus. A WA to Writer/Director Amy Koppelman, Harrison’s pilot USONIA is in the top 7% of projects on Coverfly.
With a unique background as a journalist who reported about post-war torn countries and cartel-plagued cities, Harrison focuses on telling the stories of professional outsiders, fish out of water characters and truth-seekers facing obstacles laid by the powers-that-be. A WGA writer, Harrison successfully leveraged his life experience to work as a writers' assistant and is set to receive an episode credit on a yet-to-be-announced show. He is prime for representation and would be an asset to any writers' room.
