I don’t want to tie things in a neat ribbon. I'm not interested in spoon-feeding my readers. I want to respect my audience, allow them to piece together their own understanding of the material. Gem Laddie is an onslaught, a gut punch of the psychological and physical... much like the real-life darkness it explores.
