Ryan is a combat veteran, Navy Reserve lieutenant, foster dad, LGBTQ+ activist, and recovering unscripted executive. He's an alum of the Warner Bros. TV Writers' Workshop and is currently staffed on MANIFEST (Netflix). Ryan received his bachelor's degree from Harvard University and MFA from UCLA, and his grad thesis film premiered at Sundance.
