Innumerable stories live in the oddest nooks and crannies. One tiny gleam of a story nugget makes me want to dig further and see what's there. I've found treasure in historical fiction (WW II/WASP, 18th-century East India Company), modern reality-based fiction (a Colorado motorcycle club, a California cowgirl, and community theatre auditions).
