Based on true events lived by my mother, this story holds a special place in my heart. It is not often we are made aware of the trials and tribulations many immigrants must navigate through in order to eventually experience some sense of freedom. Ideally the feature length script will further explore and arrive at this concept (ie. freedom, the american dream, basic human rights etc).
