A recipient of USC’s Edward Small Writing and Directing Award and the inaugural Stephanie Rothman Fellowship presented by Blumhouse, Lizz Marshall is a horror writer/director who uses genre to tell social justice stories about women. Having a mother who worked in criminal justice directly inspired her and her stories, allowing Lizz to focus on psychological themes that haunt the audience. Her short film WHAT DAPHNE SAW is available on ALTER and Lizz is now in conversation with financiers and production companies to make her first feature.
