With a background working under showrunner Monica Macer and pitching book adaptations for a major publisher, Nick Rodriguez currently works in the writers room for the Disney Jr. series TOTS. Growing up as the only gay child of the only Puerto Rican family in his suburban neighborhood of New York's most forgotten burrough, his writing gravitates to the stories of outsiders who exceed the expectations set for them. This comes across in both his one hour and animated half hour pilot samples. Primed for his first staff writing position.
