Based on my childhood in Hanoi. This is the story of a young teenage American girl and her family in Vietnam in the 1990s. It’s a quirky comedy about puberty, surveillance, and coming of age in a society undergoing an economic, sexual and cultural revolution. “Armstrong in Hanoi” celebrates diversity and not fitting in.
