In 1959, nine Soviet students hike into the Ural Mountains to earn elite expedition certification. When they stray near a remote Mansi village, they witness a strange ritual and unknowingly awaken Uncle Leshy, a legendary forest spirit bent on punishing intruders. As the group fractures under isolation, fear, and supernatural influence, a nearby military test complicates matters—drawing deadly attention. One by one, the hikers vanish, their deaths officially ruled an accident. Inspired by the real Dyatlov Pass mystery, Uncle Leshy blends folk horror and psychological dread in a chilling tale of myth, memory, and the forest that never forgets.
