Ripped from current global events, Bandit Day.Operation Sandman is a TV series drawn from real military combat scenarios with a focus on emerging global war between free democracies and fascist dictatorships that pose NATO allies against the traditional and non-traditional adversaries at large. In this surprise attack -- a limited nuclear bombing by Iran of the U.S. Jt. Forces Air Base Incirlik, Turkey -- the enematic 'spark' that ignites WWIII is struck. Onboard USS Carrier Strike Group 12 (USS Theodore Roosevelt CVN-71 'Big Stick' , simultaneous to this global war execution, two USN elite fighter pilot commanders compete for aerial supremacy with romance history between them onboard Big Stick. Intel advises that Russia is behind Iran in planning and executing the attack upon a weak American President. Following the less than successful Iranian attack, during an otherwise normal combat training and reconnaissance day onboard Big Stick, two elite USN and US Marines' fighter pilots on patrol are shot down (in the case of the first death) and sabotage (in the case of the fallen Marine aviator). Intel further discovers and reveals these pilots died as a direct proximate consequence of their adversarial counterparts for Russia/Iran/North Korea carrying out simultaneous IT hacking of NATO power and security grids under the guise of 'LUCIFER2' and a purposeful on-board sabotage by an embedded Russian agent (Geekno) of engine mounts on the FA-18 Super Hornet. Immediately, America declares war in alliance w/NATO to the enemies' intentions to overthrow existing western democracies and redraw Middle East, European and North American spheres of influence. It's fight or flight for these uniformed fighter pilots and their respective chains of command. There is no free-exit reply.
