Additional Project Info

"The Girl From Krakow" is a Semifinalist in the 2023 Austin Film Festival Screenplay Competition, an Official Selection of Ink & Cinema’s 2024 True Story Showcase, an Official Selection of the 2024 Diversity Showcase, and a Semifinalist in the Rhode Island International Film Festival's screenplay competition (where further advancements may be pending). I wrote this script on assignment for two indie producers who hold the option on the book it is based on. I have their full permission to submit this script, and the producers are now seeking co-producers, financing partners, A-list attachments, and distribution for "The Girl From Krakow". We're all excited about this story inspired by true events, its power to do good in the world-- and its timely relevance to what's going on in the world today. ISA has named me one of their Top 25 Screenwriters to Watch in 2023. I have a lot of experience adapting IP (including my own historical novel, BETSY AND THE EMPEROR from Simon & Schuster) into film and TV scripts. Am a current PAGE Awards/Bronze Award-winner and Vail Film Festival Screenplay Competition Winner for another screenplay, "Saving Mark Twain". I'm seeking representation. Thanks for taking a look.
