Richard Willett was born in Hollywood but grew up in Vancouver. He was a playwright in NYC before moving back to L.A. a few years ago, where he's an optioned screenwriter now working on his eighth paid writing assignment. He has twice been in the Nicholl Top 50 and has also been an Austin semifinalist and a PAGE and Sundance Lab finalist.
