Gary King is a former Nicholl Semifinalist and award-winning feature writer/director who was recently named to the 2020 CAPE List, which curates a Top 10 list of scripts centering on diverse Asian Pacific characters. He recently had FAST + FURIOUS actor Sung Kang attach to one of his features. Growing up on a steady diet of 80s films, Gary draws from movies like Tootsie and Broadcast News to explore the various themes of love, found family and unexpected friendships while wrapping them in strong genre spectacle storytelling.
