Additional Project Info
"Fields of Grace" is a feature-length romantic drama with a touch of fantasy. It's selected as a 2nd Rounder in the 2023 Austin Film Festival Screenplay Competition and was selected as a Finalist in the Santa Barbara International Screenplay Awards - Fall 2021. After reading this novel by Wendy Waters, I had to option it because I fell in love with the characters and the world of theatre they lived in during the 1930s in London, Paris and Berlin. I identify with the characters because I love “live” theatre and perform for my local community theatre, so I know what goes on behind-the-scenes. It’s "Atonement" meets “Cabaret” meets “Being Julia.”
