Prachi went west to become a TV Writer in 2012, making pit stops at public relations and journalism along the way. The plan wasn't to hone her storytelling skills for a progressively smaller paycheck, but hey that's what happened. Today she writes shows she would watch featuring the kind of characters she always wanted to see.

Additional Project Info

Four generations of Indian American women navigate the generational problems they've inherited while trying to make something of their own, addressing the age-old question, "Are we destined to make the same mistakes as our parents?" Throughout the series, this crew of flawed realists will deal with situation after situation in a disconcertingly matter-of-fact way. Collaboration would help me punch up their wit and ensure I do what's best for their collective and individual storylines.
