Additional Project Info
The Grand Prize Winner at Flickers’ Rhode Island International Film Festival (RIIFF). The Blouse is the most personal project I have ever developed. It's based on one night from my childhood. This is my confession about the domestic violence my mother and I faced from my father. The story tells about one night from our life out of almost 20 years of domestic violence in our family. This is my revelation of what my father was to us. In addition to the abuse from my father, our family struggled as we lived below the poverty line.
