DESPERATELY SEEKING SANTA is an animated short about MELVIN, an orphaned alpaca who lives on a farm where he doesn't belong and decides to help SEAMUS, a lost Christmas elf, find his way home to Santa. The script is an animated short for PG audiences who love unconventional Christmas tales in the tradition of NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS and EDWARD SCISSORHANDS. The story's theme focuses on finding belonging in an unwelcoming world. I hope to entertain and uplift viewers with Melvin's journey to overcome the loss of his mother and finally choose the life he wants, regardless of expectations – with a warm and fuzzy Christmas ending, as well! At the very least, I sincerely hope you are entertained by this unique holiday tale of unexpected friendships and homecomings. Thanks so much for your time and consideration!
