Tumbleweed was a finalist for the 2015-2016 I Am Soul Playwright Residency program under the National Black Theater in Harlem. It received a staged reading at the National Black Theater in Harlem for the Keep Soul Alive 2015-2016 Reading Series in November 2015. Presented as part of The Bechdel Group’s Winter/Spring Reading Series (2017). Presented as a reading as part of Scratch Night at the Theatre for the New City (2017). Presented as a reading as part of the BlackBoard Reading Series Community Night (2017). Tumbleweed was a semi-finalist for the exclusive 2016 Premiere Stages Play Festival.
