Personal Info

Bio

Rachel spent her childhood getting into trouble on a working cattle ranch and joined the Army Reserve after high school. She has served on multiple deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, first as a civil affairs specialist, then a medic and finally as a combat pilot, flying Chinook helicopters. She was accepted into UCLA’s MFA in Screenwriting in 2019 but was called up for a deployment and plans to move to LA and attend this year. Rachel writes emotionally charged military, adventure and sci-fi scripts with strong characters, rich relationships and plenty of conflict. Her scripts have been semi-finalists and finalists in multiple contests, and she is accustomed to fast-paced, high-stress environments.
