Heather Faris is a Boston-based writer/producer. Her background in visual storytelling began as a photo editor at Vanity Fair magazine. “Ripple” was inspired by photographing Cambodian child prostitutes and an obsession with war. This script won the 2018 Cassian Elwes/Black List Screenwriting Fellowship to Sundance, won the Page Awards for Action/Adventure, and made the Academy Nicholl Fellowship semifinals. Heather co-produced the feature film “Lullaby” in 2014 and has written film reviews for a Boston magazine.
