About this reader

I work in development and production at Paramount Pictures, having recently worked on films such as SECRET HEADQUARTERS and BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE. Originally from New Jersey, I discovered my passion for the arts at an early age, which manifested itself in acting and doing musicals up through high school, while at the same time writing my own stories that I'd one day want to star in. To scratch this itch, I went to NYU's Tisch School of the Arts to study Dramatic Writing, and while there, realized that my actual passion was in helping other (more talented) writers develop their scripts into not only cohesive stories, but makeable films. After getting my minor in film and tv producing and doing several internships at production companies ran by the likes of James Schamus and the makers of CRAZY RICH ASIANS, I got a job working in film finance at Andrew Lauren Productions, and while there, made revered independent films HIGH LIFE (Claire Denis' English language debut with Robert Pattinson and Andre Benjamin) and VOX LUX (starring Natalie Portman and Jude Law). From there I moved on to MTV Entertainment Group (where I got valued experience in television), and now Paramount Pictures, but the song remains the same, in that my goal is to help writers and directors take their ideas from fantastic visions in their heads, to realized images projected on a screen, no matter the genre.
