WeScreenplay's flagship feature contest, called one of the top screenwriting contests in the industry in 2017 by MovieBytes, offers two guaranteed reads, access to judges' scores, and over $20,000 in prizes awarded to winners. The winners also receive distribution to over 30 top producers and agents and mentorship from top players in Hollywood, such as Dave Green, director of Ninja Turtles 2, Juliet Berman, creative executive at Treehouse, and others.

The jury and mentors for this year's WeScreenplay Feature Competition are top notch, starting with Le'Ander Nicholson, a Hollywood literary manager who signed last year's contest winner Kenlon Clark. Dave Green (TMNT 2, EARTH TO ECHO) will be the mentor for the 2017 season winner. The grand prize winner will take home $1,000 cash prize, plus development, software, and educational resources. The top three scripts will be distributed to WeScreenplay's network of managers and agents, and all finalists receive free entry to other WeScreenplay contests as well as happy hours to network with other top writers.

Every submission will get at least two rounds of reads, with finalists getting up to six.
