Grand prize winner will receive $1,000 and circulation of their short story to ScreenCraft's network of publishing and entertainment professionals. The jury this year includes The Paris Review's editor Emily Nemens, as well as Heidi Pitlor, former senior editor at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, and the series editor for “The Best American Short Stories” anthology since 2007. Also joining this prestigious jury is celebrated writer Dina Nayeri, an Iranian American novelist, essayist, and short story writer and winner of the O. Henry Award for her short story “A Ride out of Phrao.” And finally, serving on this year's short story jury is Eleanor Chandler, editor at Granta Magazine, a UK-based literary magazine and publisher that has published works by A.A. Milne, Stevie Smith and Sylvia Plath.
