About

ScreenCraft Screenwriting Fellowship is a program designed to provide career guidance with personalized plans of action and thoughtfully curated industry meetings for emerging screenwriters. It  is a growing and thriving community of talented screenwriters with meaningful connections to industry mentors. 

The program provides 7 days of intensive meeting and 3 months of personalized career consultation for emerging writers.  Every year, three chosen Fellows receive ongoing professional support, mentorship, and personal introductions to key entertainment professionals.

ScreenCraft Screenwriting Fellowship is open to any writer applying with a finished draft of television pilot or feature-length project. Julie Plec

TV Writer, Producer and Showrunner, VAMPIRE DIARIES, THE ORIGINALS, ROSWELL

Julie Plec is the creator, executive producer and showrunner of THE ORIGINALS, LEGACIES and co-creator of THE VAMPIRE DIARIES, that ran for eight seasons and more than 300 episodes. She is also an Executive Producer of ROSWELL, NM on the CW, upcoming THE GIRLS ON THE BUS with Greg Berlanti, and recently signed an overall deal with Universal Television.

David Rabinowitz

Oscar-winning screenwriter, BLACKKKLANSMAN

David Rabinowitz is an Academy Award-winning co-writer of the Spike Lee film BLACKKKLANSMAN. He got his start working as a multimedia producer for the Wall Street Journal. David and his writing partner Charlie Wachtel are currently penning an action-thriller called THACHER ISLAND for Berlanti Productions, which is an adaptation of the book Animal by NY Times bestselling author Casey Sherman.

Javier “Javi” Grillo-Marxuach

TV Writer & Showrunner, LOST, DARK CRYSTAL, COWBOY BEBOP, and more

JAVIER "Javi" GRILLO-MARXUACH is a prolific writer of television, movies, comic books, essays, and interactive media best known as one of the Emmy Award-winning writer/producers of Lost (Outstanding Drama Series, 2005) and Jim Henson's The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance (Outstanding Children's Program, 2020) and as creator of the comic book and ABC Family television series The Middleman.

ENTRY CONDITIONS AND RELEASE: BY ENTERING THE CONTEST YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ AND AGREE TO THESE CONDITIONS.
