ScreenCraft Cinematic Book Competition
SubscribeAbout
This unique literary competition seeks book manuscripts with cinematic adaptation potential.
Is your book especially suited for adaptation to film or TV? Our jury is looking for books (published or not published) that would be great for film and/or television.
This year’s jury specializes in evaluating books for Hollywood. We’d love to read your work.
*Note: In early rounds of the competition, judges will be reading up to the first 20,000 words to determine the voice, style, characters, and themes of the author. Unless requested, the reader will start with the first page. If you believe the reader should start else where for the best sample, please include that in notes to the reader when you fill out your submission form.
Benefits
The winner will receive $1,000, a phone call with a literary manager, and distribution of their script. One of the best parts of being among the top scripts is the incredible industry jury who will be reading your work:
