The Nashville Film Festival is excited to announce the second NashFilm Pitch Competition for 2024.
Do you have a great idea for the next hit show on HBO or an original feature film? We’d love to hear your pitch!
Writers from the NashFilm Pitch Event in 2022 have had projects produced.
The pitch competition is LIVE in NASHVILLE, TN and will be a part of our Creator's Conference.
The live round advancing pitches will receive a festival badge that allows them access to the entire festival, including social and networking opportunities.
If you can't make the trip to Nashville, your entry won't be included for the final awards and prizes.
The top twenty-five loglines in each category will be selected to pitch their idea virtually to select industry professionals including Jacobo Aparicio with Anonymous Content.
The industry jurors will choose ten finalists from each category to pitch live at the 2024 Nashville Film Festival Pitch Event.
All of the virtual pitch participants will receive feedback on their pitch prior to the live event.
HOW TO ENTER:
Submit a Word or PDF document with your logline of 30 words or less
for the opportunity to pitch in either the feature or episodic category.
You may enter both, and you may enter as many loglines as you choose.
You DO NOT need to include a script, lookbook, or other documentation. The Word/PDF logline is what you will upload when it prompts you to upload the script.

Benefits
The top ten pitches in each category will receive a full festival badge for the 2024 Film Festival and an entry fee wavier for the 2025 Nashville Film Festival screenplay competition.
Winning pitch from each category will receive a one-on-one coaching session from an industry professional post-festival.
