Welcome to the 6th annual Fresh Blood Selects submission page! Fresh Blood is a free submission system for unrepresented screenwriters and creators. We are excited to bring your scary and thrilling projects to the BloodList audience!

 

Our free, Fresh Blood submissions are now open. The deadline to submit is August 15th, 2021 at 11:59pm PT. BloodList the 13th: Fresh Blood Edition will be released on October 29th, 2021!

 

With the world and industry having shifted so much, we have made the decision to only focus on Fresh Blood Select projects and creators for BloodList the 13th. We look forward to shining a light on the next generation of voices of horror and dark genres!

 

SUBMITTING DOES NOT GUARANTEE A PLACEMENT ON THE 2021 BLOODLIST or website.

 

If your work is chosen to appear on BloodList the 13th: Fresh Blood Edition, you will be notified via email (that you provided) prior to the release of the list on Friday October 29th, 2021. Deadline for submissions is August 15th, 2021 at 11:59 pm PT. If your project is selected, it will be hosted on the BloodList website for free.

 

One submission per person.

 

Feature screenplay page count may not exceed 120 pages.


For Short Stories please use Short Story (Prose) when submitting.

 

You will be sent a confirmation email once your project is submitted. You will be notified is there is an issue with your file.


Submitting your material means you agree to the Blood List's Terms and Conditionswhich includes a clause that gives Village Roadshow the right to option selected projects for a 60 day period. Please read their Terms and Conditions in full prior to submitting.
