Notes submitted by the judge of your script will be passed on directly to one of our professional script consultants (who reads it again).

OUR JUDGES
Shawna Benson is a screenwriter and producer. Shawna’s screenwriting credits include The 100, Wu Assassins, Emma Approved and Game Room. Shana also has co-produced episodes of Star Trek: Prodigy. Shawna also has many writing credits alongside her sister, Julie, including popular comic “Batgirl and the Birds of Prey”.
Rebecca Klingel is a TV screenwriter and has written episodes for gothic romance/drama Netflix TV series The Haunting of Bly Manor and The Haunting of Hill House. Rebecca has also written episodes for the TV series Borrasca and has been published in multiple writing publications.
Olivia Cuartero-Briggs is a screenwriter, producer, and actress. Olivia has writing credits for The Netflix series Queen of the South and The Arrangement. Olivia is widely known for her work on the TV series Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders and broke into acting in the mid-2000s. Olivia has recently published a new comic for the first time solo, named Silver City.
Tyler Straessle is a screenwriter known for his work on popular TV series The Good Place, Love and Forever in my Heart. He has also been a production assistant for Brooklyn Nine-Nine and on the production team for Desperate Housewives. Straessle’s new movie “Sweet Autumn”, was just released in September 2021.

Contest Eligibility
– All submissions must be written in English.
– All ages are eligible.
– Material submitted must be written and owned by the person submitting it.
– You may submit as many entries as you like.
– All entries must be uploaded in PDF format.
– You may resubmit your entered script once at the discretion of Screenwriters Network. This will be dependent on where the script is in our process and whether this has already been assigned to a reader/ judge.
– If submitting as a team a singular prize package (only) will be made out to the initial person who submitted.
– Scripts submitted to the SWN Screenplay Competition are protected and remain the owner of the person(s) that submitted.
-Up to 75 pages.
