Benefits

Fellowship Recipient Will Receive:
  • Fellowship recipient will be sent to a Robert McKee Story Seminar.
  • Airfare and Hotel to Los Angeles or New York.
  • 6 month mentorship with Scriptapalooza mentor.

The Mentors:
Pascal Le Comte : TTOU Ltd.
Pascal is a European producer of feature films with commercial potential. He is currently in development with a variety of projects and always looking for new material.

Arnon Louiv : International Media
Arnon is also the writer/producer of the feature films MY DAUGHTERS DILEMMA and OUT OF BALANCE, as well as one of the producers of the short film THE GIRL WHO DANCED WITH THE DEVIL which won a Special Jury Prize at Cannes Film Festival in 2016.

Michele Kanan : Flip Creative
Michele Kanan has been a produced solo writer for over 3 years but has worked on several collaborative projects. She has a preference for drama, comedy and suspense, but is versatile enough to work in any genre.

Alexia Melocchi : Little Studio Films
Partner of Little Studio Films, had a successful career in the international film industry, both as a producer of international projects as well as a worldwide sales agent.

Shannon Pierce : 4th Dimension Mgmt Group
4th Dimension Management Group is an LA-based management company focused on talent representation and production. We work with a number of A-list talent, and have a strong outreach to independent and studio producers/investors for full feature films.

Josh Berger : Berger Bros. Entertainment
Berger Bros. Entertainment is a comprehensive multi-media production and development company, with the ablility to take projects from concept to completion.

Rules

  • You must be 18 or older to apply.
  • Your script must be in English. All genres are accepted.
  • We accept feature film screenplays and pilots only.
  • Your script must be in PDF format.
  • This is an international Fellowship, we do accept scripts from around the world.
  • All submitted material must be original, and all rights must be wholly owned by the writer(s).
  • We recommend you register your script with the WGA or the US Copyright Office.
  • We do accept writing teams. If a team wins the Fellowship, one (1) prize is awarded.
  • Your script cannot be under an option when submitting.
  • Once you submit your script, we do not accept revisions or replacements.
  • You may submit more than one entry, but they must be submitted separately with their own application and fee.
  • If your script becomes optioned, sold or produced during the timeframe of the fellowship, your entry will be disqualified.
  • Adaptations are eligible if the work is in public domain or writer has the rights to it.
  • All entries are non-refundable.
  • Any candidate who does not meet the aforementioned criteria will be disqualified.

The Scriptapalooza Fellowship was founded in 2016 and was developed to honor dedicated writers and to help accommodate their creative process and skills. Helping as many writers as possible has always been the foundation and heart of Scriptapalooza, and this mission will be furthered with the Fellowship.

Scriptapalooza Inc. or any other partner, employee or agent associated with this Fellowship claims no ownership nor first right of option to any original screenplay submitted to this Fellowship. All ownership and rights to the scripts submitted to this Fellowship remains with the original rights holders until and unless other agreements are made.

Except where prohibited by law, participation in the Fellowship constitutes each entrant’s consent to Scriptapalooza Inc. and its agents’ and Fellowship sponsor’s use of entrants’ names, likenesses, photographs, and/or personal information for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without further payment or consideration.
