Oscar-nominated Producer Sacha Ben Harroche (SOUND OF METAL, THE RIDER, and JAWLINE) and Couscous Film Production is going to option one short script for $2,500 and work with the writer to develop the project into a feature. This is a separate prize from the grand prize winner.

The 2021-22 ScreenCraft Short Script Competition Option Program has the following terms: the writer will be given option payment of $2,500 for an 18-month option period. Producers have first right of renewal of the option for an additional 18-month period and additional $2,500 payment.
