This year the judges are from Marvel, HBO, and the National Academy of Television Arts and Science.

New Media Film Festival works hard to produce a festival that highlights and honors the hard working and uprising content creators in the New Media Industry. It is a unique festival that diligently works to find opportunities, including distribution for almost all of the submitted content, not just those programmed. The opportunities include technology giveaways, invites to global events, feature film premieres on the Walt Disney Lot, and introductions to other film festivals for programming consideration. Projects have gotten funded and distributed, from relationships built at the festival.

The 9th Annual New Media Film Festival® announces for the 1st time a Producers Panel & Pitching. Producers and development executives will share their wisdom and answer questions from the audience. Later, attendees will have an opportunity to pitch. Check out who will be here:

Grand Prize Award

This award encompasses it all: Story, Production Value, above and below the line. Everything you need to finish your current project or get started on a new one.

Plus, it includes an opportunity for a distribution deal, studio time in Los Angeles, a meeting with HBO, a meeting with Marvel post production services, Ron Proulx Casting Services for your project, and production consulting provided by Susan Johnston Casting. These services are valued at over $45,000.

The top 3 winners in the screenplay category will win industry memberships valued at $1,000 each and are still in consideration for Grand Prize Award. This year The Script Lab has requested an interview with the Grand Prize winner in the screenplay category as well, for extra exposure if the winner chooses.
