Writer Success

My Cinestory experience was almost life-changing. Getting extensive one-on-one feedback with working writers and industry pros is the real prize here. The second and perhaps more meaningful benefit of the Cinestory retreat is building a community of writing peers and friends who I expect to be a support group for many years to come. Definitely recommend.
David Weston
2021 Finalist
There's a reason CineStory is one of the most beloved retreats in the business. Placing as a Finalist with CineStory was life-changing. The quality of the mentorships and the program they make accessible to writers could not be better, and I walked away from the retreat knowing I joined a network of amazing writers.
Amy Allen
2021 Finalist
The folks at Cinestory are the best! This competition culminates in the venerable Cinestory Writers Retreat. Semi finalists and even some quarter finalists have the opportunity to attend the retreat and be part of this fantastic community. The retreat is full of panels and workshops and one-on-one mentorship meetings. As a winner, the ongoing mentorship has been invaluable in my growth as a writer and in my navigation of the industry. I cannot sing their praises enough.
