Rajendra Thakurathi is a Nepali writer and director, currently based in Los Angeles. A graduate of USC School of Cinematic Arts in Los Angeles, California and Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa, he has made a number of films across genres and these films have played at film festivals around the world. He likes telling stories that transgress cultures and borders and explore what it means to be human beings. He also takes comedy seriously. With creative experiences from places like Pixar, BuzzFeed, Good Mythical Morning, Wyldside Media, among others, he likes telling meaningful stories with creativity, heart and humor. He also dabbles in illustration, poetry and photography.
