Animated features and series bring the imagination to life. Animation is so important to the entertainment industry because of the way it connects with every person out there. In such divisive times, we need these films and series more than ever. Recent films like SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDERVERSE or ENCANTO have captured the attention of wide audiences with their amazing graphics and deep themes. Long-running series like THE SIMPSONS and BOB'S BURGERS bring out the edgy and quirky side of animation, but also contain big themes and metaphors. Audiences and entertainment industry pros are always looking for their next favorite animated film and series - so we want to hear your ideas!
Stage 32 offers access to some of the biggest names in animation, including our Mike Disa (HERCULES, THE SIMPSONS), Alison Mann (VP of Creative and Strategy, Sony Pictures Animation) and Jason Stiff (Producer, Bento Box Entertainment). Our judges are well versed in animation and excited to read your scripts. This year, the judging panel also includes executives from Zero Gravity Management, Cinemation and more with credits like BOJACK HORSEMAN, TUCA & BERTIE and HAPPY FEET to name a few! These gatekeepers of the industry can help you break in and start entertaining the masses today!
Previous winner of the New Voices in Animation Contest Samantha Clay was signed by Zero Gravity Management off her winning script, THE GROWTH. We're excited to see what this contest can do for you! Check out more of Stage 32's Success Stories here.
