Do you have a great animation script that’s ready for the industry?
From the ballroom dance in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, to the elemental combat of AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER, some of the greatest moments in cinema come from the world of animation. In recent years, the popularity of (and development interest in) animation has skyrocketed thanks to hits such as the subversive RICK AND MORTY to the heartwarming ENCANTO. The greatest animated works take full advantage of the medium. Their writers turn the challenges of animation into opportunities to tell unique stories within distinct worlds.
The Emerging Screenwriters team welcomes all genres within the Animation medium. Whether the material is inspired by classic princess adventure films, modern adult comedy series, anime dramas, or something new entirely, we want to read your story. Emerging Screenwriters: Animation winners will be shared with our mentors, partners, and industry connections (see below) for option or production consideration. Plus, the Top 10 will be considered for the ISA Development Slate.
